SLONANO conferences have been organised annually since 2002, so that SLONANO 2012 represents the eleventh in the row. The basic idea of the conference is to foster the rapid exchange of results, ideas and know-how in the field of nanotechnology. In particular, young scientists are strongly encouraged to present their work.
SLONANO 2012 will concentrate on three major topics
"Complex soft matter and colloids"
"Nanoporous structures and materials"
"Nanotechnology in Biomedicine"
Nevertheless, the organisers are happy to receive contributions on any aspects of nanotechnology, from fundamental research to industrial applications. There will be invited talks, oral presentations (selected by the Organizing committee), and a poster session.
